Peru This chilli starts out a straw colour with mauve tinges, changing through a range of mauve to orange finishing up red. Late in the season the pods may turn purple before turning red, depending on the conditions. Lovely Baccatum flavour. The plant is very prolific with a mass of colours erupting on the plant at once. The pods are up to 4 cm long, and the plant itself can grow to 30-35 cm in height, although it gets very bushy. Very attractive.

Hot Lemon Ecuador This is something very special! Hot Lemon produces 3-4 cm long chillies that ripen from green to a glossy yellow. The name doesn't come from the colour though - it comes from the wonderful citrus-lemony aroma and taste. Great in any recipe where you want some extra fruity tang.
