Peperoncino Festival
The annual Peperoncino (Chilli) Festival is held in Diamante, Calabria, Italy in September each year. It is held at night from 7.30pm to 12.30 am. Here are some pictures that I took while attending.
Stuard Institute - Parma Italy
While in Italy I visited the Stuard Institute. Here they grow and research ornamental chilli peppers as well as growing a lot of other varieties. When I was there they had a field of 25,000 plants of 315 varieties. I was given a personal tour by the director Mario Dadomo. I acquired seeds from several varieties. They have now been added to the site. Seeds are germinating.
